Sidita Zaja

Sidita Zaja is a leadership mentor at Wedu and co-leads the Membership & Nominations Committee at the Society of Gender Professionals, both since early 2024. Previously, Sidita served as a consultant at EY from February 2022 to August 2023, and as a regional advisor at FRIDA | The Young Feminist Fund from January 2016 to March 2022. Earlier roles include executive director at Historia Ime, a professional fellow at the U.S. Department of State, and coordinator at the Council of Europe. Sidita contributed to public arts initiatives as program manager at Ekphrasis Studio and strengthened LGBTI data in Eastern Europe as national coordinator for UNDP. Sidita was also a founding member of the Alliance Against LGBT Discrimination. Educational achievements include studies at Harvard Business School and a Master of Laws in Public International Law and Human Rights from Riga Graduate School of Law, complemented by a degree in European Legal Studies from the University of Hamburg and a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Tirana.
