Public Relations Manager at WeeCare

Anna Rasby-Safronova has a wealth of experience in public relations, marketing, and communications. Anna began their career in 2009 as a Legislative Page for the South Dakota Legislature. In 2012, they began their first role with the British Council as a Marketing and Communications Intern. Anna was later promoted to Marketing and Communications Associate and then Marketing and Communications Manager. During their time at the British Council, they developed communications and outreach strategies for the UK-Russia Year of Culture 2014 and UK-Russia Year of Language and Literature 2016. Anna also organized a press conference to announce the launch of the UK-Russia Year of Language and Literature and secured media partnerships with major Russian media networks.

In 2016, Anna Rasby-Safronova became an Operations Manager for the Early Childhood Development Accelerator at Uncharted. Anna then moved on to become a Marketing and Communications Fellow at SOS Children's Villages USA, where they worked with the CMO and major US networks to secure over $1.5 million worth of in-kind media placements for SOS Children's Villages PSA campaign. Anna also implemented the company's first influencer marketing strategy.

In 2018, Anna Rasby-Safronova took on two roles: an Account Manager at PBN Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where they developed effective public relations campaigns and secured media coverage for a variety of clients, and a Design Thinking Facilitator at Global Changemakers. Anna then became a Public Relations Consultant in 2019 and developed press relationships and generated over 1500 media publications for a number of clients. Anna also developed and implemented social media strategy for the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Moscow and conducted media training for the clients' CEOs and spokespeople. In 2022, they began their current role as Public Relations Manager at WeeCare.

Anna Rasby-Safronova holds a B.A. and M.A. in History and International Relations from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). Anna also completed a semester incubator program at Watson Institute in the field of Social Entrepreneurship. In 2008-2009, Anna was part of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program at Central High School in Rapid City, SD, USA. In addition, Anna has obtained certifications in Crisis Communication and Media Relations Foundations from LinkedIn in 2022, and a Certificate of Completion of Disaster Donations Communication Training from USAID - Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) in 2017.
