Karan Malhotra

Karan Malhotra is the current Controller at Upwards and has held various roles in finance and accounting throughout their career. Previously, Karan served as the Accounting Manager at MES, Inc., where they oversaw all accounting functions and developed budgets while providing insights to corporate executives. They also worked as a Management Consultant and Accounting Manager at Changeis, Inc., where Karan spearheaded initiatives to achieve DCAA compliance and built the Accounting & Finance function from the ground up. Karan gained valuable experience in earlier positions, including roles at POLITICO and GoodRx, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Maryland College Park.
