Chris Trinh has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and web development. Chris is currently working as a Software Engineer at Weedmaps since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Swim as a Senior Frontend Developer from October 2017 to February 2021.
Before Swim, Chris worked at First Person as a UX&UI Designer & Lead Frontend Developer from July 2013 to August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for front-end development of the First Person website, implementation of wayfinding experience for Stanford Mall, and Mean Stack development for apptourage.com.
Chris also has experience as a Frontend Developer at Tutor Meet Inc. and Looxcie in 2015 and 2014 respectively. Chris worked as a Frontend Developer at BroadVision in 2014, where they converted designs into websites and ensured cross-browser compatibility and mobile device optimization. Chris also worked as a Designer & Developer at CallidusCloud in 2013, where they designed blogs, implemented social media features, and developed using WordPress.
In 2012, Chris worked as a UI&UX Designer & Frontend Developer at Elastic Creative and as a Web Developer at Stewart Property Services. Chris also had a brief role as a Lead Web Developer at Moya magazine in 2011.
Chris Trinh attended the Academy of Art University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in 3D Games. In 2011, they enrolled at Mission College and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Graphic Design. During the same period, from 2011 to 2012, they also received a Certificate in Web Design from Mission College. Chris continued their studies at Mission College and completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Graphic Art in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Web Development from Mission College during the same time, 2011 to 2013.
