Jason Ebueng

Jason Ebueng has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2006. Jason served as an Alternative Media Editor/Assistant Lead at Cal Poly Pomona from 2006 to 2008. In 2011, they became the Cal Poly Pomona Club President for the Audio Engineering Society. Jason worked as a Programming Teacher at iD Tech Camps in 2012. From 2014 to 2017, they attended and completed the App Academy bootcamp for Full-Stack Engineering while working as a Contract Ruby On Rails/JavaScript Developer. During this time, they also led bootcamps in web development and coding with various organizations. In 2017, they joined C2 Education as a Computer Science Educator, where they provided training and managed clients covering Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Data Structures. Jason'smost recent role is as a Software Engineer II at Weedmaps, which they started in December 2021.

Jason Ebueng completed their Master of Software Engineering degree at California State University, Fullerton from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, they attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Industry Studies and Recording Arts Technology. Jason also completed a minor in Mathematics during the same period. Additionally, Jason Ebueng obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.
