Kwan Gi Yu

Kwan Gi Yu has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2019, they worked as a Business Developer for Yu's Messenger, where they successfully launched a delivery service for art studios and artists, improved operational efficiency, and strengthened client relationships through strategic marketing. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Web Manager at BITS & CREW, conducting research, connecting vendors between South Korea and the United States, analyzing pricing, negotiating terms, and managing inventory. In 2020, they worked as an Online Tutor at Course Hero. In 2021, they joined Cannveya as a Frontend Web Developer, where they actively participated in code reviews, debugged and troubleshooted bugs, and implemented new features using AngularJs and Vue. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Weedmaps, starting as a Software Engineer I in October 2021 and subsequently becoming a Software Engineer II in March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for driving QA processing, fostering a collaborative environment, contributing to technical design, and ensuring project tracking efficiency through Jira.

Kwan Gi Yu pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from NYU, completing this academic program between 2014 and 2020.
