David de Wever

David De Wever is a seasoned professional in the event management and creative marketing sectors, currently serving as Co-founder and Managing Director of Weezevent Belgium since May 2023, with a focus on business development in new territories. Prior to this role, David held the position of CEO and Partner at PlayPass from 2012 to May 2023, where PlayPass collaborated with prominent organizations such as Live Nation Belgium and Graspop. David also contributed as a Partner at Playout!, a creative agency, from 2005 to 2013, and served as CEO of Didi Tech & Distribution from 2001 to 2009. Earlier in David's career, a position at Antwerp Diamond Bank as a Back Office Commercial Banker was held for a brief period in 2000. David De Wever earned a Licentiaat in Financial Economics from the University of Antwerp between 1995 and 2000.
