Rick Gerrie

Rick Gerrie is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and application development. Currently serving as Software Engineering Director at Wegmans Food Markets since 2013, Rick has previously held various management roles, including Systems Manager in Supply Chain and Application Development Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at MVP Health Care from 2005 to 2013 as Associate Director of Business Application Development & Support and Associate Director of eBusiness, where Rick managed teams focused on business informatics and IBM Websphere Portal implementation. Prior to MVP Health Care, Rick served as Chief Technology Officer at Tobin & Associates, Inc., contributing to technology alignment with business objectives and strategic planning. Early in Rick's career, experience as a Systems Engineer at Computer Task Group involved supporting major clients and designing custom software solutions. Rick Gerrie holds a BA in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Potsdam, earned between 1979 and 1983.
