Chu Yeow Cheah

Chu Yeow Cheah has extensive experience in the technology industry. Chu Yeow is currently serving as the SVP of Engineering and Development at Wego.com since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SP Group from December 2016 to February 2021, holding the positions of Senior Principal Software Engineer and Deputy Director. From November 2013 to November 2016, Chu Yeow Cheah served as the Director of Engineering at Nitrous Inc. Before that, they held multiple roles at Wego.com from January 2006 to October 2013, including CTO, Chief Software Architect, and Senior Developer. Additionally, Chu Yeow Cheah has experience as a Tinkerer and iPhone developer at Slice of Life Apps from September 2009 to October 2013, as well as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Singapore Computer Systems in 2005. Chu Yeow has also worked as a Web Developer/Architect at muvee Technologies in 2004 and as an Author of Firefox Secrets at SitePoint in July 2005.

Chu Yeow Cheah completed their education at the National University of Singapore from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1997, they attended Tampines Junior College, where they pursued a course in Science.
