Bjorn Vuylsteker

Bjorn Vuylsteker has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Bjorn is currently the CPO and Co-Founder of WeGroup, where they focused on product-led growth in the insurance industry. Prior to this, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of WeGroup, leading the technical and innovative aspects of the company. Bjorn also worked as the Head of Innovation at WeGroup, overseeing the short- and long-term vision of the product.

Bjorn's experience also includes a role as a Student Worker - AI Specialist at an unnamed company, where they set up a chatbot framework for customer support. Bjorn was a Product Advisor at WhereAt, a company focused on community-driven platforms in the Web3 space. In addition, they worked as a Technical Advisor at Trade.be, a crypto community in the Benelux region.

Furthermore, Bjorn has gained experience as a Student Worker at Craftworkz, where they handled various technological advancements, including speech recognition, robot platforms, and semantic analysis. Bjorn also worked as a Software Developer - Pepper Robot at Craftworkz, where they developed software for an autonomous robot.

In 2012, they enrolled at Ghent University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Engineering Technology, graduating in 2016. Bjorn then went on to continue their studies at Ghent University, pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from 2016 to 2018. Furthermore, in 2021, Bjorn participated in the Executive Program at Harvard Business School, specializing in Disruptive Strategy.
