Corey Coleman

This year, Corey is WeGrow's Head of Elementary School. Corey came in as the founding elementary Lead Teacher for students in Grades 1-4, and later served as the Elementary Academic Manager, supporting with curriculum design and teacher development. Prior to her time at WeGrow, Corey spent her time at one of New York City's top performing charter schools teaching students and developing teachers across 46 schools. Corey was awarded an Excellence Award for her accomplishments as an educator, and celebrated as a labsite teacher who mentored and managed teachers across the network. Corey is an avid traveler, a movie buff, and an aspiring Spanish language speaker.
