Simon Piotr Almind

Simon Piotr Almind is an experienced engineer and project planner currently working as a Hardware Design Engineer at Weibel Scientific since August 2022. Prior to this role, Simon served as a Detector Integration Engineer at the European Spallation Source ERIC from May 2022 to August 2022. Simon's background includes military service as a Weapon Technical Officer with the Royal Danish Navy from March 2021 to April 2022, where involvement included a deployment to the Gulf of Guinea in January 2022. Simon's earlier experience includes a position as a Student Assistant at the Danish Defence Center for Operational Oceanography in early 2017. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Military Leadership from the Royal Danish Defence College and a Master of Science in Engineering focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
