Bill Cavanaugh

Bill Cavanaugh is an experienced account executive with a robust background in advertising sales across multiple media platforms. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Weigel Broadcasting Co. since January 2021, Bill is responsible for cross-platform sales involving radio and television stations, as well as digital and OTT assets. Previously, Bill held account executive roles at TMJ4 News and WLS-FM, focusing on TV, digital, and OTT advertising sales while driving client revenue through tailored advertising solutions. Bill has also served as Local Sales Manager at Univision Radio and WLS AM & FM, where strategic growth and team development were key responsibilities. With a foundational career in sales management and operations from positions at Bonneville Chicago Radio Group, Comcast Spotlight, and WSCR-AM, Bill brings extensive expertise in client relations, revenue growth, and market strategy. Educationally, Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from Illinois State University.
