Chris Cangilla has extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. Chris started their career as a Technical Producer, Photojournalist, and Editor at NBC News in 1992. Chris worked on news, promotions, commercials, PSAs, and corporate presentations. During their time at NBC News, they received multiple national awards.

In 1997, Chris joined CBS Corporation as a Writer/Producer/DP/Editor. Chris designed, developed, and implemented shows, programs, commercials, and promotions for WBBM-TV, the CBS owned and operated station in the third largest TV market. Chris also managed production budgets.

In 2009, Chris moved to Weigel Broadcasting where they worked as a Production Manager. Chris continued their responsibilities as the Director of Commercial and Program Production in 2015. Chris focused on local production of commercials and programs for multiple platforms, including CW26 Chicago, WCIU The U, MeTV, Movies!, Decades, Heroes & Icons, and MeTV FM 87.7 radio station.

In 2014, Chris took on various roles as a Storyteller, Video Podcast Creator/Host, Video Editor, Writer/Producer, and Graphic Designer. Chris worked on corporate communications content, including videos, marketing messages, and employee engagement stories. Chris also created and hosted video and audio podcasts and crafted video trailers and animations for book releases.

Chris Cangilla has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music and Media with an emphasis in Management from the University of Colorado Denver. Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude. Chris also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Colorado State University. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified UAs (Drone) Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in April 2017.
