Mark Friesch has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Mark started their career as a Local Sales Manager at WKOW-TV in 1979 before moving on to become a Local Sales Manager at WISC-TV in 1985. During their time at WISC-TV, they managed the Local Sales Department and achieved the number one share of local TV dollars in the market. In 1993, they joined WICS/WICD-TV as the Director of Sales/Local Sales Manager where they increased sales and implemented new Traffic and grid rate systems. Mark returned to WISC-TV in 1998 as the Director of Sales/Local Sales Manager, responsible for directing various sales departments and managing sales traffic. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the General Sales Manager at KESQ,KDFX,KCWQ,KPSP, overseeing sales for multiple stations. In 2012, they joined WDJT Weigel Broadcasting as the Director of Sales. Finally, in 2019, Mark Friesch retired and now enjoys life as a Manager of enjoying life.
Mark Friesch attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 1997 but did not complete a degree or study a specific field. Mark later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Additionally, Friesch participated in the University of Wisconsin School of Business 1999 Management Institute, although no degree or field of study is specified.
