Nichola Halpin

Nichola Halpin is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Weightmans since April 2024 and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Liverpool Law Society since November 2023. Previously, Nichola was involved with The Law Society as part of the In-House Network Advisory Committee from March 2023 to August 2024. Nichola's extensive legal experience includes holding positions such as General Counsel and Associate Director of Legal Services at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from April 2021 to April 2024, and Associate Director of Quality Governance & Patient Safety at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust from September 2020 to April 2021. Prior roles also include Head of Legal at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from May 2015 to September 2020 and Solicitor at Weightmans from 2008 to 2015. Nichola earned a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from The University of Sheffield.
