Tamara Porfirio has a diverse work experience in healthcare administration. Tamara is currently the Chief Administrative Officer at Balance Health, where they oversee the merger between Weil Foot & Ankle and Balance Health, making it the largest podiatry organization in the country. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Weil Foot & Ankle. Tamara also has experience as an owner of Pinot's Palette Logan Square and has held various executive positions at UChicago Medicine, including Executive Director and Vice President/CFO. Tamara has also worked as a consultant at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery & Neuroresearch Medical Group. Tamara has a strong background in network development, physician group integration, and strategic planning.
Tamara Porfirio's education history includes attending the University of Chicago, the University of Indianapolis, and the University of Iowa. At the University of Indianapolis, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Chemistry. Tamara later pursued a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology at the University of Iowa.
