Marie-Pier Nadeau

Marie-Pier Nadeau is a partner at WeirFoulds. Marie-Pier has over 10 years of experience as a civil litigation lawyer. Marie-Pier has represented clients across Canada in various commercial litigation matters, including in the province of Quebec. Marie-Pier has successfully handled a large case load of subrogated property claims. Marie-Pier has also assisted clients with the investigation into the cause and origin of the loss. Marie-Pier has conducted discoveries, participated at mediations, settlement meetings and pre-trials. Marie-Pier has also handled a vast array of procedural motions. Prior to joining WeirFoulds, Marie-Pier was an associate lawyer at McCague Borlack LLP, where they defended insured individuals and corporations on behalf of their insurers, and represented insurers for subrogated claims against third parties, for a wide variety of claims, including: professional liability of engineers and architects; property damage arising from fires, water escapes and oil leaks; product liability claims against suppliers and manufacturers.

Marie-Pier Nadeau completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Université Laval and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law at Dalhousie University.
