Joe Lacagnina

Joe LaCagnina currently serves as the Senior Director of Real Estate at Weis Markets since January 2024. Previously, Joe worked at The GIANT Company from January 2018 to January 2024, holding roles such as Director of Store Format & Brand Integrity, Director of Store Format, and Real Estate Development Manager, concentrating on the company's long-term capital real estate strategy and securing key real estate sites. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Real Estate at Ahold USA from September 2009 to December 2017, focusing on new store opportunities and expansions in multiple states, as well as holding real estate representative and location research analyst positions at The GIANT Company from July 2002 to September 2009. Joe LaCagnina holds a BA/MA in Retail Geography from Binghamton University, earned between 1996 and 2001.
