Richard Weiss has extensive work experience in the field of environmental engineering, science, and management. Richard is the Principal and Founder of Weiss Associates, where they have been providing high-quality environmental services for almost 40 years. Richard'sexpertise lies in groundwater and soil characterization and remediation, as well as vapor intrusion, stormwater compliance, and property assessments. Richard also served as the President/CEO of PTW Design & Development, Inc. from 2015 to 2020, focusing on creating electronic and mechanical devices to assist physically disabled individuals. Additionally, they have held positions as a Principal at Consorcio Autana, an Instructor at the University of California Extension, and a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist and Project Manager at Harding-Lawson Associates. Richard began their career as an Engineering Geologist at Woodward Clyde Consultants (URS). Richard has also conducted research and published on geothermal development and environmental impact assessments.
Richard Weiss has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from The City College of New York. Richard later obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Geology from Stanford University. Additionally, Richard pursued further education at Stanford, earning another MS degree in Engineering Geology.
