Scott Moody

Scott Moody is the Vice President, Director of Information Technology at Weitz Investment Management. Scott has over 18 years of experience in the IT industry.

Scott started their career as a Sr Developer at DC Systems in 1996. Scott then moved to American National Bank & Credit Card in 1997 where they became the Head of IT. In 2000, they joined SilverStream Software as a Sr Developer / DBA. Scott spent two years there before moving to Calamos Investments in July 2001.

At Calamos Investments, Scott held the position of SVP, Business Intelligence Director. Scott spent 18 years at Calamos Investments before joining Weitz Investment Management in May 2019.

Scott has a wealth of experience in the IT industry and is a valuable asset to Weitz Investment Management.

Scott Moody has a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Information Systems from Northern Illinois University.

They work with Ann Krone - Senior Client Relationship Representative, Kelly Kraft - Vice President, Director of Intermediary Distribution, and John Detisch - Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel. Scott Moody reports to James Boyne, President.
