Blane O'Banion

Blane O'Banion is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in retail leasing and portfolio management. Currently serving as Vice President of Leasing/Joint Venture Portfolio at Weitzman since February 2018, O'Banion oversees leasing for a robust Joint Venture portfolio comprising 70 assets and approximately 5.2 million square feet in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Prior to this role, O'Banion held the position of Vice President/Regional Leasing Director at Weingarten Realty Investors from April 1999 to December 2017, where oversight included a portfolio of shopping centers totaling around 2.5 million square feet across multiple states. O'Banion has also contributed to retail leasing at Insignia, Intershop Management AG, and United Commercial Realty earlier in the career. O'Banion holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University.
