Marshall Mills

R. Marshall Mills is President and Chief Executive Officer of Weitzman. Mills is responsible for overseeing the company, with particular emphasis on market share growth and overall performance. As president of the statewide Weitzman, Mills enhances his leadership role in directing the company's operations and brokerage activity in Dallas-Fort Worth and throughout Texas. The company, in addition to Dallas-Fort Worth, operates offices in Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Mills oversees the brokerage operations in all of the company's offices. Weitzman currently operates with approximately 60 brokers responsible for leasing a portfolio of more than 44 million square feet throughout the state. On the asset services side, he oversees statewide property management, asset management and development operations. Weitzman currently manages a retail property portfolio of more than 22 million square feet.

Mills joined Weitzman in 1992 and has also served as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for accounting, financing and acquisition strategies. Prior to Weitzman, Mills was with Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., where he was an interim construction lending/workout officer responsible for a major commercial property portfolio. Mills real estate finance experience at Chase included providing construction financing for commercial and residential development in markets across the U.S.

The Dallas Business Journal honored Mills as as a "Most Admired CEO" in North Texas as part of its inaugural CEO awards in 2018.
