Susan Stern began their work experience in 2002 as a Strategic Planning Consultant, a role they held until 2005. In 2005, they became the National Executive Director and CEO at Weizmann Canada, where they focused on introducing people to cutting-edge research and facilitating partnerships with companies aligned with their mission. Currently, Susan Stern is self-employed.

Susan Stern earned a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Education from McGill University, where they studied from 1973 to 1977. Susan later pursued a Masters in Education degree with a major in Administration from the same university, completing their studies from 1981 to 1984.
