Andy Weissman

Andy Weissman has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Andy served as the Executive Director, Bay Area at the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science starting in July 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director, Leadership Giving at the same organization from August 2013 to July 2018. Before joining the Weizmann Institute, Andy worked at The Nature Conservancy as the Director of Donor Relations-Major and Principal Gifts from January 2009 to August 2013. During their time at The Nature Conservancy, they also served as a Coda Fellow, where they focused on volunteer board development in Indonesia. Andy worked as the Associate Director of Major Gifts at Claremont McKenna College from October 2006 to January 2009. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development at David and Margaret Youth and Family Services from March 2005 to October 2006.

Andy Weissman attended Horace Mann School from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained their high school degree. Following this, they enrolled at Emory University from 1979 to 1983, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
