Elmer Espiritu

Elmer Espiritu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elmer started their career in 2001 as an Electrical Design Engineer at Fujihaya Electric Corporation of the Philippines, where they worked until 2003. Elmer then joined Manila Electric Company as a System Operation Engineer from 2003 to 2004. Following that, Elmer worked at Nutralife as a Machine Operator from 2005 to 2008. Elmer then joined Justswitchboards Ltd. as an Electrical Design Engineer from 2008 to 2011. Currently, Elmer is employed at WEL Networks, where they have held the roles of Relief Distribution Network Controller from 2011 to 2021 and currently serves as the Network Operations Planning Lead starting in September 2021.

Elmer Espiritu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sto. Tomas, attending from 1995 to 2000. In November 2022, they obtained the New Zealand Certificate in Electricity Supply (Network Control) Level 4 from Connexis - Infrastructure Industry Training for Te Pūkenga Work Based Learning Ltd.
