Flip Roos

Flip Roos has extensive work experience in project and programme management. They are currently working as a Project Delivery Manager at WEL Networks since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Programme Manager at Waikato District Health Board from March 2018 to October 2021, and as a Project Manager from May 2017 to March 2018 within the same organization. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Exxaro Resources from April 2012 to May 2017, and at Business Connexion from July 2010 to April 2012. Flip also held the position of Project Manager at Honeywell Australia from February 2008 to April 2010, and at Systemsfusion from July 2007 to January 2008. They started their career at Business Connexion as a Service Delivery Manager, working from May 1998 to June 2007.

Flip Roos has a diverse education history. In 1993, they attended Technicon Witwatersrand, where they obtained a National Diploma in Information Technology. Flip further pursued their education and enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2000 to 2002, completing a Management Advancement Program (MAP) degree.

In 2008, Flip Roos attended the University of New England in Australia, where they obtained a Diploma in Project Management. Continuing their studies, they obtained certifications in various fields. In 2011, they became an ITIL Expert through APM Group and received an IT Service Management certificate from APM Group.

Additionally, they obtained several other certifications over the years. In 2018, Flip Roos became a Better Business Case Practitioner through APMG International. In 2019, they acquired certifications as an ICAgile certified professional and a Certified Scrum Master through ICAgile and Scrum Alliance, respectively. Flip also obtained MSP® Certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice in the same year. Furthermore, in 2017, they became a Prince 2 Practitioner through PRINCE2.com.
