Aila Mikkola

Aila Mikkola has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Aila started their career in 1981 as a Business Unit Secretary at Oy Tampella Ab, where they were responsible for meeting and travel arrangements, correspondence, and daily office duties. Aila later worked as a Secretary to the Managing Director and Sales Director at FISTEC Financial Software Technology Oy, where they handled travel arrangements, meetings and events, and various office operations.

In 1991, Aila joined Tieto as an Assistant, providing support to directors, management/sales teams, and business units. Aila'sresponsibilities included demanding administrative tasks, travel and meeting arrangements, calendar management, and training and event arrangements. Aila also acted as a meeting secretary at global and multicultural management team meetings.

From 2015 to 2020, Aila worked as an HR Assistant at Ramboll Finland Oy, where they supported the HR department in various administrative tasks. Aila then joined the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (Väylävirasto) as an Assistant, where they handled travel and meeting arrangements, event organizing, and provided administrative support to directors and experts.

Most recently, Aila worked as a Service Secretary at the Municipality of Kirkkonummi, where they provided assistant tasks to support management work, handled administrative support functions, and provided general administrative support.

Throughout their career, Aila has demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in handling administrative tasks.

Aila Mikkola pursued their education in two different periods. In 1978, they attended Business College and completed a program in Marketing, earning a Qualification in Business and Administration. Moving forward to 2015, Aila enrolled at the Management Institute of Finland MIF Oy, where they obtained a degree as an HR expert F.E.C. during that year. No specific field of study is provided for their degree at the Management Institute.
