Eetu Rajala

Eetu Rajala has extensive work experience in various roles related to health, safety, and risk management. Eetu is currently working as a Business Director at Welado, where they coach employees and enhances strategic activities. In addition, they serve as a safety coordinator and risk management coordinator for major infrastructure projects.

Before that, Rajala worked at Volvo Finland Ab as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, where they were responsible for implementing cultural changes and managing health care services. Eetu also contributed to the development of new approaches and procedures on a global scale and implemented Lean methods in Finland.

Prior to their role at Volvo, Rajala worked at If Insurance as an OHS Manager and Risk Management Specialist, where they provided health and safety consulting for industrial clients and ensured a safe workplace. Eetu also supported international clients in improving their health and safety culture and achieving zero accidents.

Rajala also gained experience at Proxion as a Development Manager, where they were responsible for risk management consulting, safety coordination, and business development in infrastructure and construction projects. Additionally, they worked as a part-time lecturer at Eduhouse Oy, delivering lectures on health and safety issues and energy efficiency in construction and repair.

In the early stages of their career, Rajala worked as a health and safety risk consultant trainee at If P&C Insurance, focusing on audits and developing a new safety culture evaluation method. Eetu also worked as a logistic engineer and process worker at Movere Oy, overseeing warehouse inventory management, production, and logistics planning.

Furthermore, Rajala worked as an orienteering mapper at Rasti-Jussit.

Eetu Rajala completed their Matriculation Examination at Seinäjoen lukio from 2004 to 2007. Eetu then pursued their higher education at the University of Oulu, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Tech.) degree in Process Engineering from 2009 to 2012. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master of Science (Tech.) degree from the same university, majoring in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Work Science during the same period.
