Ish Bhalla

Ish Bhalla currently serves as the Head of Behavioral Health at WelbeHealth and as an Advisor in Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), along with a role as Assistant Consulting Professor at Duke University School of Medicine. Previously, Ish held several positions at Blue Cross NC, including Medical Director and Associate Medical Director of Behavioral Health Value Transformation, and served as Medical Director at Landmark Health. Additional experience includes being a National Clinician Scholar at UCLA Health and completing a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship and Psychiatry Residency at Yale University School of Medicine. Ish earned a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Toledo, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Case Western Reserve University.
