Anastasia Samartzi

Anastasia Samartzi has been working with Welcome Pickups since 2019. Anastasia started as a Driver Recruiter, where their core responsibilities included searching for professional English speaking drivers across the globe and fulfilling the interview, training and on-boarding procedure of 200 drivers. Anastasia was also responsible for QA and performance monitoring, supporting and managing communities of more than 800 drivers in 56 destinations, across 31 countries. Samartzi also spearheaded the launch of seven new destinations, from Naples to Singapore. In 2021, they were promoted to Destination Lead, where they are responsible for the operational healthiness of all the cities in Spain (8) and Latin America (6), as well as 2 more in Europe (Budapest and Glasgow) and several in Italy. Her main responsibilities include monitoring of important metrics and market analysis, as well as decision making to reinstate the healthiness at each destination.

Anastasia Samartzi obtained a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Management, Science and Technology from Athens University of Economics and Business between 2013 and 2020.
