Haris Alvanos

Haris Alvanos has over three years of professional experience. Haris started their career in 2018 as a Soldier in the Hellenic Army. In 2019, they joined Tsakos Group Business Consultants as a Financial Accounting Associate and Junior Accountant. In their role as a Junior Accountant, they posted and processed journal entries, performed reconciliations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank accounts and credit card statements, and assisted in payroll tasks such as employee contracts, overtime calculation, and annual leave. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Welcome Pickups as a Finance Associate.

Haris Alvanos completed a BSc in Banking and Financial Management at the University of Piraeus from 2014 to 2020. Prior to this, they attended the Athens University of Economics and Business for the Youth Entrepreneurship Summer Program (YES). Haris has also obtained certifications from Macquarie University (Excel Skills for Business - Specialization), University of Pennsylvania (Introduction to Financial Accounting), and University of Michigan (ECPE).
