Kent Schofield has a long and varied career in finance. In 2004, they began their career as an Analyst Equity Research - Software at Prudential Financial. Kent then moved to Citi in 2006, where they served as an Associate Equity Research - Software and IT Hardware, and Analyst Equity Research - Software. In 2010, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President - Lead Equity/Stock Analyst and Associate Equity Research - Communications Software and Hardware. In 2017, they were hired by Uber as a Director, Strategic Finance (FP&A), Director, Corporate Development and Investor Relations, and Head Of Investor Relations. In 2020, they were appointed as a Board Member of 7GC & Co. Holdings, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). In 2021, they became the Vice President, Finance and Strategy at ShipBob, Inc. and in 2022 they were hired as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Casechek and the Chief Financial Officer at Welcome Tech.
Kent Schofield received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1998 and 2002. In 2017, they obtained a Uber Executive Education Graduate degree from Harvard Business School Online in Leadership and Strategy. Kent also obtained a Learning SQL Programming certification from LinkedIn in October 2017, as well as National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series Licenses 7, 63, 65, 86 and 87 (Dormant).
