Trevor Timmons has extensive work experience in various roles related to education and swimming. Trevor started their career as a Resident Advisor at the University of Utah in 1997. Trevor then worked as a Swim Coach, Head Lifeguard, and Lesson Supervisor at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club from 1999 to 2002. Trevor joined the Utah State University as a Graduate Assistant from 2001 to 2002. After that, they worked at the Loveland Swim Club as a Head Development Coach from 2002 to 2004. Trevor had multiple roles at the Thompson School District, including Instructional Technologist, Teacher, and Head Girls' Swim Coach, from 2002 to 2007. Trevor also worked as a Lead Facilitator at the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education from 2005 to 2012. Currently, they are the Director of Technology and Information Systems at the Weld RE-4 School District, a position they have held since 2007. Trevor is also the Head Swim Coach for the same district, starting in 2013. Therefore, Trevor Timmons has a diverse background in education and swimming.

Trevor Timmons began their education journey in 1996 at the University of Utah, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Trevor attended the institution until 1999. Following this, from 1999 to 2001, Trevor studied at Utah State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2001, they continued their education at Utah State University, this time obtaining a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology, which they completed in 2002. In 2006, Trevor enrolled at Colorado State University, where they pursued a Principal Licensure degree in Education Administration, which they completed in 2007.

Throughout their educational journey, Trevor Timmons also obtained various certifications. In 2013, they achieved the Professional Principal certification for School Principal (K-12) from the Colorado Department of Education. Then, in 2016, they earned the Professional Teacher certification for Instructional Technology Teacher (K-12) and Mathematics Education (7-12) from the same institution. Lastly, in 2018, Trevor obtained the Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.

It is also worth mentioning that Trevor Timmons holds the Certified Campus Administrator certificate, although specific details regarding the obtaining month and year are not available.
