WeLivedIt.AI centres lived experience in the development of community-led online moderation tools. We aim to democratise AI governance, without expecting people to engage in model governance with no incentive. By engaging in adapting online content moderation tools with their lived experience of online hate/toxicity, communities benefit from the development of AI that can: a) create safer online spaces for all b) reduce the biases inherent in AI training data c) foster collaboration by shedding light on different lived experiences
