Daniel Thompson, RN, CHCE has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Daniel worked as a Travel Nurse for Trinity Healthcare Staffing Group from February 2011 to December 2011, where they provided emergency department services in various locations across the US.
Daniel then joined Well Care Health in January 2012 as a Case Manager, where they coordinated care for acutely ill patients and specialized in wound care using negative pressure wound therapy. Daniel later served as the Education Coordinator, providing orientation and ongoing education to new and current employees on company standards and evolving Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
Daniel progressed to become the Manager of Education and Performance Improvement in March 2015, responsible for organizing and instructing new employees on standards and practices. Daniel further advanced to the position of Director of Performance Improvement and Education in October 2016, overseeing performance improvement, risk management, and education/onboarding departments.
Currently, Daniel serves as the Vice President of Compliance and Quality at Well Care Health, a role they obtained in October 2016. In this position, they are responsible for regulatory compliance, clinical quality, and regulatory planning for the Home Health, Hospice, and Home Care Divisions. Daniel is also a Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development and growth of the organization.
Daniel Thompson, RN, CHCE graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
