Mary began their career in 1980 at WakeMed Hospital and Health, where they worked in various roles, including Discharge Planning for Pediatrics, Neonatal, and ObGyn, as well as serving as a Unit Preceptor for Pediatrics. In 1993, they joined PSA Healthcare as a Location Director, responsible for managing daily operations and driving revenue growth. Mary's most recent position was as the Director of Clinical Operations: Home Care at Well Care Health, where they oversaw all clinical operations and ensured compliance with regulations and standards.
Mary Rollins-Hughes attended Barton College from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. It is unknown when they attended Meredith College, but they pursued a field of study in Women's Leadership.
