Maggie Kuo

Maggie Kuo has extensive experience in the field of data science and science communication. Maggie began their career as a Communications/Social Media Coordinator at the American Physiological Society in 2015 and later transitioned to a role as a Reporter, Science Careers at AAAS in 2016. During their time at AAAS, they focused on writing about workforce issues and career development in the academic sciences. In 2018, Maggie joined Insight Data Science as a Data Science Fellow, where they honed their skills in data analysis and research. Maggie then moved on to work as a Data Scientist at schireson, where they worked from 2018 to 2019. Currently, Maggie is serving as the Principal Data Scientist at Well, a position they started in August 2019. With their diverse background in data science and science communication, Maggie brings a unique perspective to their work.

Maggie Kuo earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego. Maggie went on to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, completing their studies in 2014.
