Sara Sagui-Henson

Sara Sagui Henson, PhD, is an Associate Principal Research Scientist at Modern Health since June 2020, where expertise in clinical research supports the development of adaptive mental health care. As a Senior Research Scientist, Sara executed high-quality clinical research to enhance product strategy and stakeholder value. Notably, Sara co-founded the Modern Parents Employee Resource Group in 2022, aiming to foster inclusivity for caregivers. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, and Doctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where work focused on emotional processes in health. Sara's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Integrative Medicine and advanced degrees in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and California State University, Long Beach.
