Shannon Donofry

Shannon Donofry is a full behavioral scientist at RAND since August 2023, with a robust background in clinical and health psychology, including roles as adjunct faculty and clinical research scientist at the University of Pittsburgh. A member of WELL for Digital Health and Therapists in Tech, Shannon is dedicated to empowering women in healthcare. Prior experiences include serving as a senior user research consultant at Ascension, collaborating on research studies to influence product development, and as a clinical health psychologist at Allegheny Health Network. Shannon's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, where also a master's and bachelor's degree were earned. Notable research involvement includes a postdoctoral fellowship focused on cardiovascular behavioral medicine and independent research on mood and dietary restraint at Maastricht University, supported by prestigious fellowships.
