Bob Colton

Bob Colton has extensive experience in the drilling industry, currently serving as a Motorman at Well-Safe Solutions since April 2022, specializing in the maintenance and operation of various equipment on a cyber-based rig in the North Sea. Previously, Bob held a similar role at Rowan Drilling from February 2014 to April 2022, and prior to that, Bob served as an Offshore Competency Coordinator at Rowan Drilling from July 2010 to June 2013, responsible for competence and training programs. Bob's career began as a Trainee Mechanic with Rowan Companies from March 1997 to February 2009, where responsibilities included preventative maintenance and equipment support, followed by a role as a Floorman at Rowan Drilling UK Ltd from January 1996 to January 1997, assisting with drilling operations. Bob is also an alumnus of Chesterfield Technical College.
