Julie Ann Larson has a wealth of experience in the technology and innovation field. Julie Ann began their career at EMC Insurance Companies in 1984, where they worked their way up from a Programmer/Programmer Analyst to a Vice President role. During their time at EMC, Julie oversaw technology direction and orchestrated strategy, established a software development organization, and led the development of an IT roadmap. Julie Ann was also responsible for streamlining processes, consolidating project timelines, and reducing costs. In 2019, Julie joined American Enterprise Group, Inc. as the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer. In this role, they are responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all of Technology & Innovation strategy to support the company. Julie also partners with each division to establish the current and long-term digital direction to transform the company.
Julie Ann Larson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Computer Science from Drake University between 1981 and 1984. In addition to their degree, they also hold various certifications. These include the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) certification from Toastmaster International, which they obtained in 2015. Julie Ann also obtained the Associate in Personal Insurance (API), Associate in Management (IIM), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certifications from The Institutes in 2010, 2008, and 1995, respectively.
