Scott Haugh

Scott Haugh has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the financial industry. Scott is currently the Chief Financial Officer at American Enterprise Group, Inc. since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Global Atlantic Financial Group as the VP and Actuary for Financial Planning and Analysis from January 2016 to November 2018, and before that as the VP for Modeling and Experience Analytics from October 2013 to January 2016. Scott also had a role as Director of Capital Management at Aviva USA from August 2010 to October 2013, where they were responsible for capital reporting and forecasting, as well as executing capital relief initiatives. In addition, they worked as a Senior Associate Actuary at Securian Financial Group from June 2000 to August 2010. Scott Haugh began their career as a Composition and Literature Instructor / Graduate Student at the University of Notre Dame from September 1995 to May 2000.

Scott Haugh has a strong educational background, with degrees in both English and Mathematics. Scott obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics and English from the University of St. Thomas, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Lancaster University in 1991.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Scott pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from the University of Notre Dame. Scott attended this prestigious institution from 1992 to 2000, focusing on English studies.

In addition to their formal education, Scott Haugh has also obtained additional certifications. In 2009, they became a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), an accomplishment that showcases their expertise in the field.
