Wellbeing Action For Youth

WellBeing Action for Youth empowers communities to nurture the full potential of their youth through proactive, evidence-based emotional well-being practices. We equip caregivers, educators, and families with practical tools for connection, resilience, and a brighter future. For a decade, we proudly operated as Inner Explorers, a K-12 national program dedicated to nurturing the inner lives of children within school walls. We are incredibly proud of the profound impact we had, helping countless students develop essential skills for personal growth. However, as the world around our youth grew increasingly complex and disconnected, we realized something vital: a child's well-being isn't solely shaped within the classroom. It's deeply intertwined with the entire world they live in. This profound understanding led us to a pivotal shift. We believe that true well-being flourishes when parents, caregivers, educators, doctors, and everyone who touches a child's life has access to the resources and understanding they need. In our often overstressed and disconnected world, these dedicated adults are actively seeking practical tools for prevention, basic communication, and stronger connections. This is precisely where WellBeing Action for Youth steps in. Our renewed focus is on providing a community-based platform, engaging events, valuable resources, and practical education and training. All our efforts are centered around proactive, upstream practices for emotional well-being. We are committed to bringing vital support directly to the places where families already gather, starting with innovative spaces like mother-daughter shops and salons, barber shops, and pre-K parent nights. Imagine walking into your local salon and finding a compassionate, certified professional leading a discussion on active listening or helping you build a toolkit for compassionate communication. That's the empowering reach of WellBeing Action for Youth in action.
