Rahul Sehgal

Rahul Sehgal graduated from Gujurat University in 1998 with a BA in sociology. In 2000, he launched the Animal Help Foundation in Ahmedabad. In 2006, Rahul received a municipal contract to conduct a high-volume street dog sterilization project (sterilizing 45,000 dogs in ten months). He joined Humane Society International and oversaw their street dog management projects in Asia the following year. He persuaded the Royal Government of Bhutan to launch a successful dog sterilization program in 2009 (that continues today) and subsequently launched street dog projects in Nepal and the Philippines.
