Martin Ricardo Velasco

Martin Ricardo Velasco is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in technical support and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as a LAN Technical Support Engineer and Field Engineer Jr at Wellbore Integrity Solutions since January 2022, Martin has executed critical fishing jobs, performed failure analysis using Finite Element Method, and adapted well programs to unplanned changes. Previously, as a Project Engineer at SERSA-EC, Martin designed and simulated vital components for a hydroelectric powerplant in Ecuador while also contributing to technical proposals and project quality assurance. Earlier experience includes serving as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Escuela Politécnica Nacional, where Martin conducted CFD studies on turbine designs and co-authored multiple publications in the field. Martin holds an MBA in Innovation from Universidad Internacional del Ecuador and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Escuela Politécnica Nacional.
