Melissa Troncoso, PhD, NP-C, CHWC, known as "The Health Whisperer," brings extensive experience in nursing research and healthcare. Currently serving as the 1900D Nursing Research Specialty Leader and Nursing Research Assistant Specialty Leader at the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery since May 2022, Melissa also works as a Health Sciences Researcher at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. With a solid academic background, including a PhD in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the Uniformed Services University, Melissa has held various clinical and leadership positions within the Navy and healthcare organizations since 2006. Additionally, Melissa has been a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners since 2009, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to advancing nursing practice and research.
