Michael V. Pantalon

Michael V. Pantalon, PhD, serves as Dean and University Professor at Long Island University’s School of Health Professions since November 2023, while also holding positions as Adjunct Faculty and Senior Research Scientist of Emergency Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. With extensive experience in addiction and motivational interventions, Michael co-founded the Center for Progressive Recovery in 2012, focusing on mobile technology to assist addiction recovery. As an Executive Coach and Consultant through Michael V. Pantalon, PhD, LLC, Michael V. emphasizes motivational strategies, demonstrated in their bestselling book "Instant Influence," which has been translated into 13 languages. Educated with a PhD in Clinical & School Psychology from Hofstra University, Michael has also contributed as a faculty member to various coaching programs and has co-founded initiatives such as Step Stones Jewelry and ShugaTrak.
