Radka Platte

Radka Platte is a seasoned Sample Manager at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, specializing in the Tree of Life programme since November 2015. Responsibilities include onboarding partners, addressing sample queries, and coordinating with various teams on sample shipping logistics. Prior to this role, Radka served as an Advanced Research Assistant, engaging in genomic techniques such as DNA extraction and library preparation. With an extensive background in biomedicine, Radka held positions at the University of Cambridge, where responsibilities included sample processing and management in both the Department of Paediatrics and Oncology. Radka's career began as a Dental Surgery Assistant, complemented by a strong educational foundation in natural sciences from The Open University and advanced qualifications in the English language and biology.
