Thomas Maurel

Thomas Maurel is currently the Data Team Lead for the COSMIC Team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Senior Software Developer and Senior Bioinformatician for the COSMIC team, integrating Cancer Genetics datasets and developing data structures for the new COSMIC database. Thomas has also held positions at EBI, including Senior Technical Officer in the Ensembl Production Team, and completed internships in the Ensembl Compara Team. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and biostatistics from Paris-Sud University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and earth science from CY Cergy Paris Université.
